News: Toshiba Launches NEW A100 laptop series

Toshiba couple of days back announced there new A100 satellite laptop series featuring the very best of current technology and moderate prices. with there trade mark class leading 15.4 inch wide screens, coupled with Intel Core duo processors and ATI Radeon x1600 graphic card as an option, 512mb DDR2 ram and 60GB hard disk as standard and all models, this little piece of equipment is hard to resist.

Apple badge it as podcasting, bloging, surfing, small highly mobile yet powerfull notebook, starting from 1099$, coupled with apples latest software and highly anticipated Boot camp which enables Mac computers to boot into Windows XP as normal PC. anyone who had second thoughts about software availability of software in Pakistan; can happily enjoy window XP compatible CDs/DVDs on Macs as well. Preview: Cell Processor Explained

 

Cell is a microprocessor architecture jointly developed by a Sony, Toshiba, and IBM. Cell combines a general-purpose POWER-architecture core of modest performance with streamlined coprocessing elements which greatly accelerate multimedia and vector processing applications, as well as many other forms of dedicated computation. Sony Computer Entertainment confirmed that the Cell chip will  power Sony's PlayStation 3 game console. It contains a PowerPC 970 processing core and eight specialized vector processors (or SPEs, synergistic processor elements), which handle graphics or vector calculations.
